Zurich 2008

In the evening, we had dinner at Ravi's, an Indian restaurant. This time clockwise sat Fritz, Aida, Michelle, Liam, Anna, Amanda, Thomas, Sam, Ivana, Stephanie, Hansruedi, and Jolanta. This is Jolanta and Fritz. Jolanta told us stories of Poland under communist rule. People contrasted Mac and PC, commented on Joyce movies by John Houston or Sean Walsh, and assigned chapters of Ulysses to various directors. Thomas gave sweaters to everyone who was cold. Michelle decorated Liam with Post-it tattoos and wings, so he could join in the parade. (Photo by Michelle Witen)

The food was delicious, served in small copper bowls, in particular the curried lamb. We drank Indian beer. At the end of the meal, they brought us sugared fennel seeds. Jolanta pocketed some, I purloined the roses, a red and a salmon.

Sunday 10th. Most of the people left. Michelle, Anna, and Amanda were to stay and continue their work. David Vichnar arrived from Prague. I looked up critical works on the ending of 'A Little Cloud', and took notes from Thom's 1904 Dublin Directory
then, after goodbyes

I walked to the train station

Finis.
